Location: Woburn MA, US
iX Cameras – the company developing the world’s most powerful ultra-fast video cameras for science
and industry – is looking for an young engineer to join our applications engineering group. This job is
based in Woburn, MA (outside of Boston), but involves extensive travel in North America and frequent
trips to work closely with counterparts in the IX Innovations Centre outside of London.
This job has two primary functions:
- Technical support for internal camera manufacturing in the Woburn facility
- Field support of sales and activities within North America
You will become an expert on the operation and internal workings of all our high-speed camera models,
and will apply this knowledge, creativity and engineering experience to develop solutions for customers.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in electrical, mechanical or systems engineering, be
outgoing and intellectually creative, and present well in small groups. A background in computational
fluid flow or computer programming is a desired skill. Standard MS Office and Adobe CS skills are a
must. You will report to the Director of Engineering in Rochford, UK.
