IX Cameras – the company developing the world’s most powerful ultra-fast video cameras for science
and industry – is looking for an experienced software engineer to work in our R&D technology team in
our Rochford (UK) Innovation Centre. IX Cameras is the former Olympus video engineering group.
The primary role for this person is to advance and maintain the control software for our high-speed and
long-record cameras. The multiple current software packages are written in C++ using QT and Visual
Studio on Wintel platforms. To be successful, you will require a degree or equivalent in computer
science with a software engineering background and experience with camera abstraction API’s.
Depending on the skills of the applicant, you may also be involved in management and maintenance of
the companies the company IT infrastructure.
