Dr. Charles Tinney and his team at the
Applied Research Laboratories at the University of Texas at Austin along with Dr. Nathan Murray at the University of Mississippi are using the iX Cameras i-SPEED 726 in a study to reduce the impact of jet engine noise in environments like aircraft carriers. Their goal is to maintain the power and performance of the jet engine, while protecting the personnel around the engine from hearing loss.
