Cavitation of a propeller blade is very damaging and reduces the efficiency of the blade through the water. Here we can see a propeller blade with a damaged leading edge creating cavitation. This video was at 2,000fps with a short shutter to reduce motion blur. Good lighting is key to this application returning good images.
